David Lynch

I was inspired by his film, Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive. His artworks also are darkness and violent but also very funny as well as his film. Most of his paintings are dark in color, and Lynch has said that because I wouldn’t know what to do with color. Color to me is too real. It’s limiting. It doesn't allow too much of a dream, Black has depth and like a little egress. Therefore I decided to use transparency paper like a nega film which you have to look into and dig deeper as well as his sensitive works.
